2025 Election Rescheduled
The AlmaLinux OS Foundation board member election has been moved to March 2026 due to “inconsistencies identified internally,” with transparency cited as a core project value.
CRB Repository Now Enabled by Default
To streamline access to Fedora Extra Packages for Enterprise Linux (EPEL), the CRB repository is being activated automatically in AlmaLinux OS 10. The rollout began August 27 for AlmaLinux Kitten 10 and September 9 for the standard release.
Community Opportunities
CloudLinux is recruiting a marketing and community specialist to support AlmaLinux initiatives. A video featuring Jonathan Wright and Benny Vasquez provides “a great overview” of involvement opportunities within the project.
