Announcing AlmaLinux Day Tokyo

AlmaLinux Day Tokyo will take place on December 9th, following Open Source Summit Japan. Attendees can register for the event or view recordings afterward on the AlmaLinux YouTube channel.

CIS Benchmarks Update

The second update to the AlmaLinux OS 8 CIS benchmark (v3.0.0) has been released and tested on AlmaLinux 8.8. Work is beginning on the first update to the AlmaLinux OS 9 benchmark for version 9.2.

FOSDEM 2024 Distributions Dev Room

AlmaLinux will maintain a presence at FOSDEM 2024 with booth space and will co-host the Distributions Dev Room.

AlmaLinux 9.3 and 8.9 Releases

Both releases represent the first minor versions since transitioning to CentOS Stream in July. Both releases were ready within a week of RHEL’s release.

Upcoming events include Open Source Summit Japan (December 3-4) and AlmaLinux Day Tokyo (December 9).
