Beta Releases
Two significant beta versions were released: AlmaLinux 9.7 and AlmaLinux 10.1, both available across Intel/AMD, ARM64, IBM PowerPC, and IBM Z architectures. The project emphasized that “testing and reporting of any errors is critical to ensuring a stable release.”
Btrfs Filesystem Support
AlmaLinux OS 10.1 introduced support for the Btrfs filesystem, which had been undergoing testing in AlmaLinux OS Kitten since September.
